Rosemary Honey Olive Oil Hair Rejuvenation
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup warmed olive oil (2 tablespoons for normal to oily hair)
4 drops essential oil of rosemary
1 teaspoon of xanthan gum

Cucumber Hair Rejuvenation
1 egg
1 half-eggshell’s worth of olive oil (i.e., one portion of the eggshell you broke apart)
1 quarter of a peeled cucumber

Avocado Blend Hair Care
1 small jar Mayonaise
½ of an Avacado

For all three hair care recipes, blend the ingredients together into an smooth consistency. Next, let your hair soak up the all natural hair care ingredients for about 15-20 minutes. 1 teaspoon green clay
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon yogurt or sour cream
1 drop rose geranium essential oil
Combine all ingredients to mix well. Add essential oil last and mix well.
To use, spread the Zit Zapper mask on your skin, kick back, and let it sit for an hour. Rinse off with warm water, finish with a splash of cool water.

Fighting Blemishes: Tomato Blemish Remedy
1 tomato, ripe, chopped
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 T instant style oatmeal or old fashioned rolled oats
Blend all ingredients until just combined, in a paste. Apply to blemished skin, making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay in place. Leave in place 10 minutes. Remove with damp washcloth, and rinse and tone.

Fighting Blemishes: Basil Acne Tonic
Basil is known for its “soothing and toning” properties.
2 to 3 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1 C. boiling water
Steep basil leaves in water for 10 to 20 minutes. Cool, then apply to face with a white cotton ball. Keep tonic refrigerated. Recommended shelf life: 90 days.

Aromatic Milk Bath

1 egg
1/2 cup light olive oil
1 tablespoon glycerin
1/2 cup dried milk powder
1 drop jasmine essential oil
1 drop rose essential oil
6 drops lavender essential oil
2 cups distilled water

Beat ingredients together until smooth paste forms. Add the distilled water a little at a time, continuing to beat. Immediately add to your warm drawn bath (if it’s too hot for the eggs, it’s probably too hot for you! Unless you’re looking for some scrambled eggs for breakfast, keep the temperature hot, but not cooking!)

Bubbling Vanilla Honey Bath Oil
1 cup light oil- massage oil, or baby oil
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup unscented liquid soap or unscented shampoo
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Cherry Vanilla Bubble Bath
1/4 cup distilled water
1/4 cup unscented shampoo
2 tablespoons rose water
1 tablespoon liquid glycerin
1/2 teaspoon table salt
5 drops cherry fragrance oil
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract

Whisk all ingredients until well blended. Pour desired amount under running water in the bath.

Chocolate Facial Mask
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3 tbsp. heavy cream
2 tsp. cottage cheese
¼ cup honey
3 tsp. oatmeal

Mix all ingredients together and smooth onto face. Relax for ten 10 minutes, then wash off with warm water.

Apple-Pear Anti-Wrinkle Cream
1 tsp apple juice
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp lime juice
2 T buttermilk
1 T rosemary leaves
3 seedless grapes
1/4 pear
2 egg whites

Blend all ingredients in a blender on medium speed for 30 seconds. Using a cotton ball, dab mixture on areas around the eyes and wherever wrinkles have developed. Let dry, then rinse with warm water. Use no more than 3 times a week. Follow with a moisturizer. Cover and refrigerate immediately. Shelf life: 4 days

Honey Oatmeal Facial
1/4 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 tablespoons of honey

Finely grind oatmeal, then mix together with yogurt and honey. Mix throughougly until smooth paste has formed. Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

2/3 cup ground almonds

1/2 teaspoon of herbs (lavender, chamomile, etc) (optional)
Plain yogurt, milk, or buttermilk, sufficient to make a paste
Essential Oils for scent

For each body scrub, blend the ingredients together into a fine mixture, then exfoliate away. These blends of all natural ingredients will leave your skin radiant and rejuvenated and happy to be back to the basics!
