Feng Shui is the practice of using the energy of a space, also known as the “Chi,” to produce the best possible outcome. In a sense, you use the room’s positive energy to create a positive atmosphere within yourself.

The room in the house that requires the most “Feng Shui” attention is usually the bedroom. Many people resort to sleep meds when experiencing insomnia. However, in many cases, adding a little Feng Shui to your bedroom makes it a much more peaceful environment.

Color, lighting, furnishing are three main keys to Feng Shui. As an individual, you have to choose the colors that make you feel best in this environment. Keeping the room clean of all dirt and clutter are positive reinforcements for the Feng Shui of your room.

Three things to avoid in your bedroom: prickly plants (danger), unhealthy plants (death), and clutter under the bed that disturbs your natural flow. Also, it is beneficial to have nothing “looming” over your bed. It is also best to keep your bed at an angle where you cannot be spooked by entering family members..
