This exhilarating adventure tour will take your raft through rapids that have carved a path through the Smokey Mountains over centuries. After launch you will be quickly challenged with fast moving water and standing waves. As your white water rapid guide leads the way, you’ll coast through five miles of energizing Class III rapids named, “Powerhouse” “Big Rock” and “Roller Coaster.” These rapids will have your heart racing for more!
If what you desire is a more laid back trip, then the Lower Pigeon trip is the way to go! This Class I-II portion of the river provides a great introduction to whitewater rafting for all ages. These lazy rapids provide a fun experience for everyone, while also being able to sit back and take in the magnificent views of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Both the Upper and Lower Pigeon River Rafting Trips are guided by white water rafting experts, and are suitable for first time and intermediate level rafters. No previous white water rafting is required, as your guide will teach you the appropriate techniques to coasting through the rapids, and will always have your safety as their top priority.
